Custom Fishing Rod Appointment and Deposit
Book an appointment with Eastern Rodworks owner/master rod builder Matt Hetterich. With 25+ years experience in building, repairing, modifying, and restoring both factory and custom fishing rods, there's not much he can't do!
 
From simple guide/tip top repairs, to decorative thread wraps, personalization with names, boat logos, fish decals, etc., Matt will help guide you through any level or size project. He's experienced in individual "one off" style builds, along with full boat outfits consisting of 6, 10, 20, or 30+ piece matching orders.
 
He also specializes in full scale restorations, from "bottoms up" rebuilds to guide rewraps on an old favorite you can't let go of.
 
Consulation Includes:
In-shop or phone/FaceTime/Zoom call to discuss custom fishing rod options, desired build or tackle outtfitting and/or restoration/large scale repair project.
Demonstration: Review blank options and component choices available from leading manufacturers to match the desired build. Custom blank painting also available.
Customization: choice of handle options including custom cork/burl grips, EVA foam, shrink tube, carbon fiber, reel seats and more. 
Personalization: thread wrap and trim colors, decorative threadwork patterns, underwraps, decals, names, dates and personalized text, company logo or decals. 
 
Price includes choice of Eastern Rodworks Logo T-Shirt or Logo Hat and $125 deposit towards a custom build. 
 
Build appointments are booked according to your/customer schedule in consultation with Matt. Most custom builds completed in 12-14 weeks, based on blank/component inventory and build schedule.
